Got Questions? We've Got Answers.
Plant Medicine refers to naturally sourced botanical compounds containing psychoactive agents, utilized in traditional and modern contexts to facilitate profound emotional and spiritual healing. Unlike standard herbal remedies, these substances induce non-ordinary states of consciousness, enabling deep introspection, the processing of trauma, and the attainment of vital insights necessary for psychological growth and transformative change, typically within a structured or ceremonial framework.
Plant Medicine may be right for you if you’re seeking a deeper connection to yourself, feel ready to explore emotional healing, or are longing for clarity around patterns, pain, or purpose. Many people come to this journey when talk therapy alone isn’t reaching the places their heart is asking to be seen. What matters most is your readiness, not to “fix” anything, but to be open, supported, and gently guided through whatever arises. A screened, intentional, and nurtured setting helps ensure the medicine meets you where you are, and only goes as far as you’re prepared to go. If you’re curious, hopeful, or feeling a quiet pull toward inner work, it may be a sign that this path is worth exploring.
Preparing for a plant medicine journey is really about creating space — in your body, in your mind, and in your spirit — so the experience can meet you gently.
Here’s what we encourage:
1. Begin with intention.
You don’t need to have everything figured out. Simply spend a little time reflecting on what you’re hoping to understand, release, or call in. Your intention is a compass, not a contract.
2. Nourish your body.
A few days before your journey, lighten your diet if possible — more whole foods, less alcohol, caffeine, and heavy meals. Think of it as making room for clarity.
3. Create emotional spaciousness.
Slow down where you can. Journal, take walks, or sit in quiet moments. The medicine works best when you arrive centered, not rushed.
4. Honor your medications.
If you’re taking medication, don’t make any changes without speaking to your doctor. Safety comes first, always. We’ll guide you in understanding what’s needed.
5. Trust the process.
A big part of preparation is softening into curiosity. You don’t need to force anything. Just arrive open, supported, and willing to meet yourself with compassion.
With thoughtful preparation, the journey becomes less about “doing” and more about receiving — letting what needs to rise, rise, and what needs to soften, soften.
If you need to taper off any medications before the journey, please consult with your prescribing doctor. They can guide you on whether it’s safe to adjust or discontinue your medication and provide a proper tapering schedule. For your safety, do not stop any medication abruptly.
The journey typically lasts about 6–8 hours, followed by integration and grounding time. We’ll guide you through each stage so you feel supported the entire way.
Some participants experience visual or sensory effects, while others have more emotional or introspective insights. Everyone’s journey is unique, and there’s no ‘right’ way to experience it.
